Festivals, sponsors, media partners and service providers from Spain and Portugal have already applied their projects to the Iberian Festival Awards. The event will have its 1st edition during Talkfest, on the 3rd of March in Lisbon, FIL Main Auditorium (dinner + gala award show).
151 global applications (98 festivals and 53 companies) were validated and in total 360 requests for the different categories that will be awarded.
The jury panel (12 members - Portugal, Spain and International) will now analyze the different applications and briefly the 10 finalists of each categories will be announced [Best Touristic Promotion by BTL| Best Service Provider | Best Cultural Programme | Best Communication | Best Brand Activation | Best Use of Technology | Best Hosting and Reception | Best Infrastructure | Contribution to Sustainability). The jury panel will also nominate the person that is laudable for the Excellence Award.
