TALKFEST - International Music Festivals Forum announced today the second international keynote speaker for the main section (conferences) of the professional day on March 22 (Museu das Comunicações, Lisboa) - Filippo Giunta, the current director of Rototom Sunsplash unanimously regarded as the largest world reggae festival, which takes place annually in Spain
In the past editions we have received the best testimonials from established festivals such as Roskilde, Sziget, Exit, Glastonbury, Wacken Open Air or Primavera Sound (Spain) and this year we had already confirmed Mariana Sanchotene (Amsterdam Dance Event). Filippo Giunta has been in charge of the Rototom Sunsplash festival for almost three decades. At just 20 years of age he gave up his medical school to organize concerts and tours and later work at the festival, that has already received more than 3,5 million viewers and 2,500 performers and bands on stage.
The 4th edition of the Iberian Festival Awards, included in Talkfest'19, will take place on March 13 in Vigo. The Teatro Afundación will receive a gala composed by 22 categories + 1 excellence award interspersed by six iberian live acts . The shortlisted names (TOP10) of the event will be announced next week.
