Nominees Announced for the 10th Edition of the Iberian Festival Awards

All nominees for the 10th edition of the Iberian Festival Awards are now known – HERE, a commemorative edition that marks ten years of recognising excellence in the festival industry in Portugal and Spain. Over this decade, the awards have taken place in several Iberian cities, such as Barcelona, Lisbon, Granada, Vigo, Maia and Almancil, consolidating themselves as a reference meeting point for professionals in the sector.

On March 14, 2026, the Coliseu Micaelense, in Ponta Delgada (Azores), will host a unique celebration gala, dedicated to honouring the best in the sector and marking a decade of recognition, innovation and excellence. This year, the awards include 25 categories + 2 Excellence Awards (for personality and entity of the year), and the major novelty of this edition is the introduction of The Innovation Award, a distinction dedicated to projects, ideas or practices that stand out for their innovation and impact on the future of the industry.

The deadline for travel refund requests has already ended. Nevertheless, it is still possible to secure travel

in advance, a recommended strategy for those who wish to take advantage of the best opportunities for travel and accommodation in connection with the gala. The remaining participation add-ons remain available, designed to optimise the delegates’ experience during the event.

The Dinner Networking will return and will be an immersive experience featuring Azorean gastronomy (e.g. the famous fish, alcatra or São Jorge cheese) in a walking dinner that will take place at the Coliseu Micaelense before the gala. This initiative was designed as the ideal opportunity for informal networking, allowing participants to meet with industry colleagues while enjoying an immersive experience of Azorean flavours, in an environment that combines gastronomy, heritage and professional relationships.

The 10th edition of the Iberian Festival Awards thus reinforces its role as a platform for recognition, innovation and networking, bringing together the Iberian festival community to celebrate the past, discuss the present and imagine the future of the sector.

This event, the only one in the Iberian Peninsula dedicated to the festival sector, is organized by APORFEST - Portuguese Association of Music Festivals and guarantees free access/applications to the Iberian Festival Awards, as well as VIP access to Talkfest for its members with valid membership on the date of the event.
