The Women in Music Industry Award honors outstanding women shaping Portugal’s festival scene. This award highlights their crucial role in innovation and progress within the industry, addressing the need for greater visibility and representation.
The 14th edition of TALKFEST – Music Fest Summit will take place on March 14 and 20, in Ponta Delgada (Azores) and Lisbon, respectively.
This award aims to recognize a woman actively involved in the Portuguese music industry, with a connection to music festivals, for her work during the 2025 calendar year.
This award proudly follows the path set by three remarkable women who shaped its legacy in previous years: Rita Carmo, an acclaimed photographer whose vision was honored in 2023; Karla Campos, a key force behind Ageas Cool Jazz, recognized in 2024; and Dora Palma, a leading sustainability expert celebrated in 2025.
