TALKFEST - MUSIC FEST SUMMIT 2026
We’re pleased to announce the first wave of speakers and artists confirmed for the 14th edition of Talkfest – Music Fest Summit, returning to Lisbon on March 20th!
Gary Smith (curator of Amsterdam Dance Event and Paris Music Week) will moderate the keynote conferences, joined by:
Matthieu Corosine (Global Director of Moga Festival)
Joana Gonçalves (Brand Manager of Rosé by Sogrape, a brand active in music festivals)
João Álvares Abreu (Director of Cidnay Vale do Ave Festival, a classical music event)
António Freitas (Director of Nómadas Festival, known for its thoughtful and audience-focused lineup)
Filipa Patrício (Booking Agent at Mosto).
Together, they will take part in a series of discussions sharing insights and experiences about the future of the music industry.More than 90 speakers are yet to be announced for this edition.
In the showcases, Janeiro (Portuguese singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, nominated for the Latin Grammy Awards and preparing exciting surprises for 2026, including his new album) and Libra (an artist with deep roots in conscious hip-hop and a touch of alternative R&B. In 2025, she released her debut album, highlighting the role of women in artistic expression) will take the stage.
More showcases will be announced soon as part of the full program.
Talkfest is the leading Iberian meeting point for the festival, music, and events industry, bringing together every year professionals, artists, brands, researchers, and decision-makers in a unique space for knowledge-sharing, training, innovation, and recognition.
Its program encompasses a wide range of complementary activities — from conferences and forums to project presentations, training sessions, networking opportunities, artistic showcases (documentaries and live performances), and the Iberian Festival Awards ceremony. Together, these elements make Talkfest an essential event for everyone involved in building and shaping the live music and festival sector.
In 2026, the event will once again feature simultaneous translation (Portuguese–English and English–Portuguese) during the conferences, as well as seven parallel programming rooms — with many exciting new features to be announced soon.
IBERIAN FESTIVAL AWARDS 2026
Applications for the Iberian Festival Awards 2026 are still open!
On March 14th, 2026, the Coliseu Micaelense, in the city of Ponta Delgada (Azores), will host the 10th edition of the Iberian Festival Awards.
This ceremony will honour the most remarkable achievements of 2025 (across 25 Categories + 2 Excellence Awards) and promote cooperation between Portugal and Spain, celebrating excellence and unity within the festival community. In addition to the main gala, there will also be parallel networking initiatives.
Limited to 350 applications.
This event, the only one in the Iberian Peninsula dedicated to the festival sector, is organized by APORFEST - Portuguese Association of Music Festivals and guarantees free access/applications to the Iberian Festival Awards, as well as VIP access to Talkfest for its members with valid membership on the date of the event. Access and registration for non-members are available and can be done through the official website.
