Iberian Festival Awards, will happen on the 3rd of March in Lisbon, during Talkfest – International Music Festivals Forum.
Applications to the different categories are already open and available until 20 November. All music festivals, companies, service providers and media partners that were connected with the Portuguese and Spanish music festivals industry in 2015 may apply.
The awards will consist of a dinner gala exclusive for industry members and jury panel of the diferent categories (from Spain, Portugal and International) and a ceremony where all the winners of the 20 categories will be known.
The hosts for the 1st edition of the Iberian Festival Awards are Mary Ruiz (TV presenter and actress – Spain) and Pedro Luzindro (actor, screenwriter, comedian and TV presenter).
Different countries, diferent genders but a commum professional career – Acting (theater and TV), hosting shows and their spontaneity make of this pair of presenters real "masters of ceremonies".
Mary Ruiz has a degree in Communication Sciences, has different experiences – TV (Antena 3, Axn and Umo Tv), rádio (Rádio 3), acting (series and videoclips) and advertising (including international publicity). Pedro Luzindro has a degree in Theater and experience as na actor on soap operas, series, cinema, short films and theater plays. At the moment he is also screenwriter (5 para a meia-noite), comedian (stand up shows) and TV presenter (Inferno from Canal Q).
The event is regulated by Festival Awards, Ltd (organizers of the UK Conference & Festival Awards and European Festival Awards).
