First program news for Talkfest'17


10 fresh news items about Talkfest'17: the first confirmed speakers for the conferences are: Susana Sequeira (Owner MTSF Partners and investor); Carlos Carmo (Coordinator of Festival MED); Diogo Marques (Partner Dot Global / Prod. Vilar de Mouros); Pedro Carvalho (Director Transform-Arte / Zna Gathering); Mariana Couto (Booker We Are Music) and Pedro Cluny (Music festivals sound technician). For the Concerts night the first confirmation is Ditch Days with their new album "Liquid Springs". The band has a characteristic sound that combines alternative rock with dream pop. The Documentaries confirmed are: Benjamim: auto-rádio (2016), a tour road report and O Dia em que a Música Morreu (2016) by Bruno Ferreira that continues the story of one song from Linda Martini. In the Scientific Presentations the results from this year’s study of "Portuguese Festival Goer Profile and social environment in festivals in Portugal" will be presented Open calls for Scientific Presentations (individual or collective studies in the field of music festivals) and Professional Presentations (projects and ideas for implementation in festivals) are available now.

The 6th edition of Talkfest - International Music Festivals Forum will happen in Lisbon (9 and 10 March) at the Museum of Communications (Museu das Comunicações). This year Talkfest will have many professional activities such as Conferences (main section); Presentations (Scientific and Professional); Seminars; Job fair and Documentaries. Talkfest will end with a special concert night at Musicbox (Lisbon). One of the goals for this edition is to create more technical tools for professionals and enhance their networking as well as to create more convenience to visitors.
