Talkfest'19: Announcement of another set of speakers and live act


The 8th edition of Talkfest - International Music Festivals Forum will take place between the cities of Vigo and Lisbon, on March 13rd and 22th, 2019 respectively. We are announcing today the second set of speakers inherent to the various programming contents of the professional day and the second live act confirmed for the gala of the Iberian Festival Awards.

The main programming area of the event continues to have journalists as moderators for each theme in order to enhance the best of each set of speakers, and this year everyone will come from the television context.

Blaya (artist); Lú Araújo (Mimo Festival Director); Luis Carvalho (EA Live artistic director); Fernando Cabral (Soundsgood director and booking agent); Marco António (The Lucky Duckies manager/singer) e Paulo Santos (City council Faro municipality / Festival F).


Testimonies from various sectors and different professional contexts (national and international) will bring to each theme an integrative vision of what we want to discuss. We also want to foster the barrier-free interaction of the audience and can also be part of the debate.

ARTES À VILA - heritage, music and culture by Eduardo Jordão (director)

A presentation of the 2nd edition, with first hand announcements, of the festival that places the Monastery of Batalha as a key factor of all its programming.

Documentaries

PAUS - MADEIRA


The Festival Aleste invited Paus to go to Madeira Island and be part of an artistic residence (September 2017) with the intention of recording the videoclips of the new album and documenting the stay on the island and the result is this. To watch full screening on Talkfest'19.

Iberian Festival Awards

FILIPE SAMBADO (PT) | There are many summer festivals that welcomed Filipe and his "luxury escorts" this year. Surprise for many and finally the recognition of songs in playlist on radios like Antena 3 and Vodafone. It is, for this, the second live act confirmated for the Iberian Festival Awards gala.

Applications for these awards, which will take place in Vigo (Spain) on 13th of March, are open and will be used to reward: music festivals; festivals of other artistic aspects; festivities; media partners; service providers; sponsors and artists.
