TALKFEST'19: Complete programme, highlights and opening by the Minister of Culture


The 8th edition of Talkfest - International Music Festivals Forum began in the best way, in the last week with the gala of the Iberian Festival Awards at Vigo, in a memorable edition that shows the union of the area of the music festivals in Iberian level and in the interest of the fomentation of synergies. We leave the video with the best moments of the awards delivery, live acts and brand activations.

The second session of the event (professional day) is already scheduled for Friday at the Museu das Comunicações in Lisboa, and will have: conferences, scientific presentations, pitch, workshops, documentaries and exhibitions on a day started by the Portuguese Minister of Culture to anticipate the participation of almost 100 speakers divided by 5 programme rooms simultaneously.


We highlight for the 2019 edition:

  • The presence of international keynote speakers: Fillipo Giunta (director Rototom Sunsplash), Mariana Sanchotene (director of the Amsterdam Dance Event) and Ingrid Berger (Backstage Rock in Rio) at the conferences and the workshop by Antoine Biehler (Iberian Operations Director See Tickets);

  • The results of the study of "Annual report and festival-goer profile - the x-ray of festivals in Portugal" with new items associated with consumption and economic impact of festivals in Portugal;

  • TV and radio studio for recording testimonials of those attendees;

  • Conferences stage with new decoration (powered by La Redoute).
