The 10th edition of TALKFEST – International Music Festivals Forum will be a celebration in a hybrid format with primacy for the face-to-face (re)meeting of professionals in the sector. In 2012 it all started and it will be in 2022 that we hope this event will be the definitive return, the definitive kick-off of festivals.
The meeting is scheduled for March 25th and 26th in Lisbon, with the main event taking place on the first day at the Hotel Tryp Aeroporto - conferences, pitchstage, scientific presentations, workshops, 1-to-1 meetings, lounge & networking (with activations brands, exhibitions, catering and permanent DJ). More than 100 speakers will attend the event, 10 of them international.
At night, concerts will take place at the Auditório Lispolis, which will also be the stage for the second day of the gala of the Iberian Festival Awards, which has already visited Barcelona, Vigo and returns to Lisbon.
The next edition of the Iberian Festival Awards will have new categories and categories adapted exclusively for this year due to the current pandemic – see its description below – in an edition with 20 categories that will have national and Iberian winners and 2 Excellence Award categories (for personality of the year and now also entity of the year) interspersed with Live Acts by artists from Portugal and Spain. Applications can already be made (see regulations on the official website) and are, this year, limited to 300 entries, being considered by order of arrival. Can apply: music festivals; music events (new); festivals of other cultural natures; professional events; concert halls and outdoor venues (new); artists and bands; brands (partners, sponsors and service providers), photographers and media partners.
