Talkfest'17: 16 program news and 3 days left to vote for Iberian Festival Awards


A lot of news in the different sections of the event (during the day) is being announced, for an event that intends to provide a great and relevant offer (conferences, presentations, seminars and documentaries) to the public. Nine new speakers have been secured for the conferences of the 6th edition of Talkfest'17: Miguel Oliveira (Int. Label Manager Sony Music Portugal); João Ataíde (President Figueira da Foz Municipality); Pedro Valente (founder Azáfama); Vasco Cornélio da Silva (director Campo Pequeno); Gonçalo Morais Leitão (Resp. advertising RTP / Filho da Pub); Jorge Figueiredo (CEO Digitalframe); Sofia Teixeira (owner Blog Bran Morrighan) and the artists Margarida Pinto and O Martim. In the professional presentations, there will be a cultural platform and the presentation of the 3rd edition of a festival: Coolture - Web Platform, in Market Place format, for the promotion and dissemination of cultural and entertainment events, by: João Perdigão and Filipe Magalhães (partners) and Rodellus - a festival for those who are not afraid of the countryside, by: Maria Manuel (producer) and Jorge Dias (director). In the scientific presentations that have been gaining momentum in the event itself by the study and monitoring of useful data for Portuguese festivals, two new features were added: Brand behavior and influence of sponsorships in the attitude of purchase – Case study of EDP Cool Jazz (2016, Margarida Rigueira, UCoimbra) and The Importance of the Consumer Based Brand Equity of an event for the Branding of the destiny (2016, Vítor Roque, UCoimbra). The seminars, which are expository and practical workshops in small groups, we invited specialists of areas we feel important to train and equip the public: First Aid - what to do if something happens to the person next to me while watching a concert, by: Márcio Coutinho and Nuno Guerreiro (AFSS); The secret to a perfect photography, by: Nélson D'Aires (photographer) and What is the recipe for a successful booking / management? At the right time, creative and profitable! By: Joana Souza Dias (RedMojo). Currently 60 program points are confirmed in the different sections that make up Talkfest, and there are still many speakers to be announced.

The 6th edition of Talkfest - International Music Festivals Forum will happen in Lisbon (9 and 10th March) at the Museum of Communications (Museu das Comunicações) and in Barcelona (Macba, 16thMarch). This year Talkfest will have many professional activities such as Conferences (main section); Presentations (Scientific and Professional); Seminars; Job fair and Documentaries. One of the goals for this edition is to create more technical tools for professionals and enhance their networking as well as to create more convenience to visitors. Only 3 days left to vote for Iberian Festival Awards


The 2nd edition of the event will take place in Barcelona on the night of March 16 at the legendary MACBA - Museum of Contemporary Art. A gala (with musical performances and awards ceremony) will take place in the largest auditorium of the space, preceded by a dinner in the Restaurant En Ville.
